We are actually on a cruise right now. Several posts on the cruise line (Royal Caribbean) are forthcoming. Just wanted to let you know that you CAN book cruises through other channels – such as United Airlines.
We booked a big 50th birthday cruise for my husband, out of Baltimore on Royal Caribbean’s Grandeur of the Seas. It was a LITTLE difficult at times as we didn’t know whom to contact for questions or problems – it turned out to be United most of the time. I would say it’s definitely worth it and we are actually planning our cruise in May 2017 through United as well. They are offering some FANTASTIC perks like 4x miles, 2 free (pick things like free internet, drinks, specialty dining and/or gratuities), and BEST OF ALL no deposit (repeat United cruisers). They also have a 110% price match guarantee.
I would highly recommend you consider booking with them next time you want to cruise. I know, people wonder why I like to cruise because it’s not really living like a local. There are several things I like – my greatest reason is all the different nationalities onboard. I meet people from all over the world! Also you don’t have to move your luggage and you can see many places in one trip.
If you do call United Cruises, please let them know we referred you…
