Make Friends with the Locals in Antigua

April 7, 2016 by Laurie Deppa Leave a Comment

I was only here in Antigua one day when a nice woman at a local swim race invited me to join her ladies group.  It’s amazing what you really experience by being with the locals.  Within minutes I had so many text messages on my phone welcoming me and asking about me.  We already have some events planned with some of the ladies.  Today I was at the pool (Antigua Athletic Club) and I met some people at the juice bar – turned out they were some of the ladies from my group (it’s a small island).  We sat together and had a very nice conversati0n.  Now I actually know some of the ladies and will see them again soon.

More friends in Antigua – don’t think you can have too many.
